"9FIVE is incredibly pleased to celebrate Five years in business as of today, 9/5, 2013. From a brand that was originally formed in a small home garage in San Diego, 9FIVE has amassed a paramount team of professional skateboarders that now endorse the brand, a large tastemaker following, and has been worn by many of the most prominent figures in music and professional sports. To celebrate this landmark, 9FIVE has released the “5 Years of 9FIVE” video, presented by Hypebeast, chronicling the brand’s history. 9FIVE is also releasing two new frames, both now available on 9fivesite online store and at 9FIVE’s Flagship store in Downtown San Diego. Any purchase of eyewear made on September 5th (Today), either on 9fivesite.com or at the 9FIVE Flagship store, will come with the limited edition “5 Years Of 9FIVE” T-shirt, while supplies last."
9FIVE Eyewear was commissioned by Jordan Brand (Jumpman23) to help welcome NBA Point Guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Russell Westbrook, to their elite team of athletes with a customized set of 9FIVE x Jordan Brand reader frames and sunglasses. Russell Westbrook is one the NBA's youngest and most athletic Point Guard's, but is also known for his progressive off-court looks. The collaboration celebrates both of these distinctions.
If you are looking to buy the 9FIVE x Jordan Brand collaboration frames, I'm afraid they are player exclusive frames at this time. But you can find plenty of similar styles from the 9FIVE Eyewear Fall Collection, such as the Watson 2 in Black/Gold, or the KLS 2 in Red Snakeskin/Gold. Stay tuned for further news on a follow up project.
9FIVE Eyewear is pleased to present the Limited Edition 2Three Sunglasses. This special project features 2 variations of a leather wrapped shade inspired by the Nike Air Jordan 4 with Cement pattern, and the Air Jordan 4 with Elephant Print. The frame comes packaged in a miniature "Shoe Box", also inspired by the original packaging that held the sneakers. Find this special project in one of 9FIVE's premier retailers worldwide.
